FEEDING OF 68 PEOPLE INCLUDING 40 SMME’s BENEFICIARIES FROM DIFFERENT COMMUNITIES IN TSHWANE MUNICIPALITY GAUTENG PROVINCE TRAINED ON CONSTRUCTION BY TAPSONLINE TRAINING (TAPS)

On the 2nd December 2020, God First Foundation, was sponsored by Tapsonline Training (TAPS) to cater for 40 SMME’s beneficiaries from different communities in Tshwane Municipality Gauteng Province to be trained on construction and their 5 facilitating staff members as a way of TAPS giving back to the community.

The training programme took place at Rivers of Water Church in Jeff Masemola street Pretoria from the 3rd – 4th December 2020 and from 7th – 9th December 2020, where we served the beneficiaries and the facilitating staffs with breakfast comprising of Tea, Rooibos, Coffee, Scones or Muffins and Water and lunch comprising of Starch, Meat, Vegetable, Salad, Water and Juice on a daily changed menus during the session.

On the 11th December 2020 being the graduation day, God First Foundation went all out and provided the hall decoration, cultural music entertainment (Marimba), PA systems, Photography and Video coverage and also catered for the graduation ceremony of both the beneficiaries and their guests to a total of 68 people.

In November 2009, God First Foundation and God First Vision Trust embarked on a mission to assist the needy children in Nellmapius and approached Ms Esther Mosana the project director of Legae Day and Night Care Centre in Nellmapius Pretoria Gauteng Province South Africa to support their work by donating a sizeable quantity of groceries and clothes to 29 children and also fed the inmates with well-prepared meal and brought smiles on their faces.

In August 2007, God First Foundation networked with Ms Monica Moeletsi and Mr. Alfa Mahlako both from the Department of Social Development to assist the needy children of Ward 21of Lefiso, Lefiswane and GaMaria in Marapyne Community in Mpumalanga Province South Africa and donated Cloths to 59 less privileged children and the event was honored by the chairperson of Women’s Leagues, Councilors, Chief’s headmen, Children and their parents.

In December 2006 God First Foundation embarked on a mission to assist the needy children, worked together with Ms Monica Moeletsi of the Department of Social Development and managed to reach out to the children of Lotus Home during the Christmas season and ensured that these children had a pleasant and enjoyable Christmas just like children from normal homes. We provided 44 children with clothes, shoes and Christmas lunch. The ages were between 3-10 years old.

In August 2008, God First Foundation and God First Vision Trust embarked on a mission to assist the needy children in Atteridgeville and got in touch with Ms Pataskala Ratsoma, the Project Director of Leamogetswe Safety Home in Atteridgeville Pretoria Gauteng Province to support their work with the most marginalized children of our community among whom are abandoned, abused, neglected, needy and homelessness and donated clothes to 46 children thereby assisting the community to improve its quality of life and alleviate its deprived circumstances.

In January 2007, God First Foundation embarked on a mission to assist the needy scholars, worked together with Ms Monica Moeletsi of the Department of Social Development and Mr John Hannekom who resides in Bokfontein and donated school uniforms and school shoes to 9 scholars both boys and girls. The organisation realised the need of school uniforms and school shoes for those children whose parents or guardians are unemployed.

A MEMBER OF TSHWANE ALLIANCE FOR STREET CHILDREN (TASC) FROM JULY 2002 TILL AUGUST 2005

God First Foundation after it was successfully incorporated in 2001, became a member of Tshwane Alliance for Street Children (TASC) and featured prominently in their workshop always held in Doxa Deo church conference hall in Pretoria central Gauteng South Africa from July 2002 till August 2005.
